Equipment Needs - Seminars/Workshops
For seminars/workshops and
discussions, please don't put Peggy behind a lectern or far away from her
audience! She wants to be able to connect with them. She likes to walk
around. Lectern is used for presentations with computer demos (it's for her
laptop so she won't have to sit).
-
PowerPoint computer
projector with screen in either front corner (multiple screens in front
and back for
computer demos and larger meeting room). Do not place projector in her
path.
-
Wireless Lavaliere
microphone when audience size warrants.
-
Small table upfront (in
addition to projector table).
-
Chart with dark-colored
pens (small meeting room).
-
Outlet strip with 3
available plugs (for presenter).
-
Sufficient outlet strips
(for attendees in hands-on workshops).
-
Table for learning
resources upfront, either side.
Room Arrangement
Theatre or
classroom style with aisle down the middle. Rounds are second choice (if
people cannot see screen during computer demos, rounds promote
chatting...people use multiple screens in large rooms). U-shape is the least
desirable.
Handouts
and Additional Resources
When requested, speaker will provide
one original for copying. Please forward detail specifications if needed
(e.g., margins, number of pages, etc.). We do not provide detail handouts
with screen captures and computer instructions for computer workshops.
This type of information is located in her books.
Deep discounts are available
for learning resources: Peggy's
books and other products. Please inquire at booking.
Audio and Video Recording
To avoid embarrassment of either party, please adhere to our policy.
Any recording of any
session must be approved in advance. If Client plans to distribute
recording NOT for profit within Client’s organization, Speaker may
or may not approve. If approved, Speaker must receive the master copy. For-profit distribution requires a
written royalty agreement. In either case, Speaker owns the copyright to
any recording of any presentation. To maintain recording quality, it is
suggested that professional equipment/personnel be used and that audience
microphones be strategically placed for questions.
Other
Peggy will not make
after-dinner presentations where alcohol is being served.
