- Will I be charged for a telephone call?
Yes for all callers, billed through your phone company
just as any long distance call you make (if you haven't
signed up for unlimited long distance with your phone
company, now is a good time).
You'll receive
the phone number and bridge line in an email message the
day before
or morning of the session.

How are international
calls handled?
Actually, international calls are handled the same way as US
calls (see #1). Click the link to

With the site license, how does that work?
You may have several employees in your office or in
various locations who want to learn more. The site license is
per connection. So if you have two locations, you'd pay for two licenses. Employees
in both locations would go to a conference room and project the eSeminar onto a screen. The site license is per Web connection,
meaning you couldn't have employees in their individual offices
with each connecting to the training.
The number of employees in the one room is up to you.
When you click to pay, just change the
quantity in the shopping cart if you need to, and you'll be set.
Private Sessions
The site license listed here is for eSeminars that are open to
the public. If your company wants a private session, the fee
structure is different. For more information,
contact us.

Do I need some specialized
technical skill to participate?
No. You'll dial a number and enter a code that we'll send
you once you register. You'll also click a link to a Web
site just as you normally would. It's easy, no software to
download.
Top
-
When will I
receive whatever information I need to get into the session?
Please check your email at least 30
minutes before the conference. We usually send everything the
day before or morning of the event.
Top
- Do I need to purchase any special computer equipment
or download any special software?
No. You should already have all the hardware you need. You
don't have to download any software either.
System Requirements
Pentium 4 with a Sound Card
1.4 GHz
128 RAM (ideal is 512)
Windows 2000 or XP
Internet Explorer 5 or higher. Netscape 5.
Fast Internet Access is best but only required when we're
doing video...which at this time we're not.

- My security level in Internet Explorer doesn't allow
ActiveX. Will this be a problem?
It shouldn't be. This used to be a problem, but the vendor
improved the service. If the link we give you doesn't
work, you'll see an instruction with a second link you can use.
If even after that, you still have a problem, you might
need to change your security settings to allow ActiveX.
- Click Tools,
Internet Options.
- Select the Security
tab.
- Click on the globe icon.
Set the Security option to 'Default'.
This setting must be set for either the Internet or Local
Intranet option.
If the Default button is grayed out, click Custom Level.
Then click to Enable ActiveX and Plug-Ins. Then
you'll click to Install the Accuconference
software.
- Once the settings are
changed, please Refresh the page.

- Can I call in from my cell phone?
You could, but you
stand the chance of being dropped from the call. If you
join us on your cell phone, make sure you're in a quiet
place with a strong signal. Make sure you'll be able to
connect to the Internet.
Top
- Is this a sales pitch disguised as a seminar?
Absolutely not!
This is an actual seminar
that's packed with
information you can use immediately to get things done.
We've received so many requests from people who are not
able to attend our in-person seminars in Atlanta and
Washington DC. This is a solution, and is the next best
thing to being there! Peggy's specialty is helping people
work smarter, and the last thing she wants to do is waste
your time.
Top
- Will we take a break during the session?
Absolutely. We'll take at least one 10-15 minute break
during the session (when session is longer than an hour).
Top
-
Can I use my
laptop if you're demonstrating computer tips? You can
not use a laptop if you sign up for a seminar because it
will make you lag behind and will completely throw off our
schedule. However, if your company is interested in having
your group complete hands-on exercises, you can request
it. Click
here to read possibilities.

If I have a question about
something explained in the session, is there any type of
post support?
Yes, for Organization/Time Management-related questions
only. Email your question to worksmart at PeggyDuncan.com.
Or visit the
Ask Peggy page and post your question. All appropriate
questions, along with the answers, will be posted on the
Answers page of the site.

If you have a technical question about something discussed
during the training, you can send an email message to
worksmart at PeggyDuncan.com. This
support is
for the simplest of questions. We are not able to provide
tech support.
For detailed step-by-step instructions, consider buying
one of
Peggy's books on
the subject. They're written in plain English and explains
everything in more detail.

May
I record sessions on my end to listen to or view later?
No. These sessions are copyrighted through the US
Copyright Office in Washington DC. Recording is strictly
prohibited via any medium. We will record sessions and
make them available for a limited time for free, or you
will be able to purchase.

-
Will I be able to view the sessions later on your Website?
Not yet. We're working on this.

What's to stop people from getting the passcode to join
the session and simply forwarding the information to their
friends?
We hope this won't happen. But if it does, a session
attendant always compares the name/email address of each
participant that calls/logs into the session. If their
information does not match our registration database, that
person will not be allowed in. If they get through, we have the
technology to boot them out of the session. We'd like to avoid
any embarrassment for all.

What version of the software will be used for computer demos
when you're doing them?
When the eSeminar calls for computer demos, we'll usually use
Microsoft Office 2003. A lot of the features work similarly
across versions, so this shouldn't be a problem for you if you
use something different. To find out which version of the
software you use, click the Help menu, About.

You mentioned something about a set of Word templates I will
receive. Can you explain in more detail about these
templates? Peggy Duncan is a professional organizer and
spent several years working with individuals at their desks
getting them organized. She used the same set of templates for
each one, saving the clients hours in billing. Examples of the
templates include a full file index that you'll customize to fit
your needs, forms for creating labels for hanging file folders,
labels for executive mail folders, and more.

Do you offer refunds if I have
to cancel the training?
If we have to cancel the
training for any reason, you'll receive a 100% refund. If
you have to cancel the training, you'll receive a refund
minus 25% administrative fee up to 5 working days prior to the
training.
You can always allow a substitute to take your place,
but you'll need to let us know.
We will not be responsible for
any losses you incur due to the cancellation of this or any of
our training sessions.
If you've already registered for a session and need to
reschedule to a later date, check
the
schedule and let us know which date via email.

Why would I
want to pay for an eSeminar when other sites such as Microsoft
are offering them for free? You're
right, there are free Webcasts available on other Web sites.
I've sat through some of them because I needed to see how mine
are different. One thing I've learned: when a session is being
advertised as a Webinar, it's usually a sales pitch disguised as
a seminar.
On the other hand, Microsoft produces a series of free Webcasts
that are truly intended to enhance your skills. These sessions
are one hour so the instructors have to move very quickly. I can
usually follow what's going on because I teach these same
topics. You may need a different learning experience. The
following outlines how my sessions differ.
First, I do not spend considerable time explaining what
I'm going to teach you because that's explained in detail on my
Web site. Second, my sessions are open so we can interact
during the training. I've done surveys and attendees prefer this
because they can stop me and ask a question on the topic. Plus,
the interaction gives them a feeling of being in face-to-face
training. Third, I'm not going to show you the long way
to do something just to show you how smart I am; I'll show you
the shortcuts...the way I do it. Fourth, I take
situations from the real world...situations you deal with every
day, and show you how to do them better, faster. Fifth, my
sessions aren't open to some vast number of attendees. I keep
them small so everyone gets individual attention...the same way
I do in my workshops. And last, I combine my skills as a
professional organizer, project manager, and computer trainer to
help you examine every aspect of how you work so you can develop
smarter ways to get things done. And last.5, I'll give
you free templates that will help you get organized!
I hope you'll join me soon and start living a more stress-free
life.

Will you set up an eSeminar for my company or association.
Yes, we will. But only when Peggy
Duncan or one of her training associates is the presenter. We
will set everything up including registration and payment pages
on this site or a special events site (our own). You handle all
the marketing efforts. We will bill you for the trainer fee plus
any costs associated with using the Web meeting technology. You can charge any fee
for registration or make it available for free...it's up to you.

contact us.
